Lawsuit filed against Cleveland police moved to federal court: I-Team

CLEVELAND (WJW) – A lawsuit filed by the family of murdered Cleveland Police Officer Jamieson Ritter has been transferred from Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court to federal court.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge Steven Gall this week filed a journal entry stating the case is transferred. The transfer was made after attorneys for the city of Cleveland filed a notice of removal to have the case moved.
