Pedestrian dies after being struck by car in San Jose crosswalk

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle in a San Jose crosswalk, police said Tuesday.

The collision happened at about 12:05 p.m. Aug. 4 near Tully Road and Lucretia Avenue. According to the San Jose Police Department, a 2019 gray Nissan Sentra driven by a woman was traveling westbound on Tully Road and turning right onto Lucretia Avenue when it struck a man crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.
