It is always a bummer to see a local favorite close, and while we were sad to say goodbye to The Green Well last summer, a new spot has officially moved in.
What Took Over the Former Green Well Space?
El Burrito Grill & Bar is now open at 924 Cherry St. SE in Grand Rapids. But if you step inside expecting a standard Mexican joint, prepare to be surprised.
Signs out front note that the new establishment is family- and veteran-owned. They also promise authentic Mexican food, and you will certainly find burritos, chimichangas, fajitas, and tacos on the menu. Keep scanning though, and the lineup shifts into a high-end bistro direction.
