Greensboro Could See New Apartments Added on Burlington Road

A 13.25-acre site north of Burlington Road and east of Knox Road in Greensboro could be redeveloped with up to 200 residential units under a rezoning request returning to city planners.

According to the Planning & Zoning Commission’s agenda, attorney Nathan Duggins filed the request on behalf of property owners Benny Ray Vickers and Janice M. Vickers.

The proposal would rezone 6001 Burlington Road from its current CD-RM-18 designation to a Planned Unit Development (PUD), with conditions restricting the site to residential uses only and capping density at 200 dwelling units…
