Phillis Wheatley Community Center announces 2026 Hall of Fame Champions

The Phillis Wheatley Community Center will host its fourth annual Hall of Fame Champions Luncheon in October.

The luncheon will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 12 at 335 Greenacre Road in Greenville. The fundraising event supports the Phillis Wheatley Community Center’s mission to help individuals from local underserved communities achieve upward mobility and long-term sustainability.

Four community leaders will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Champions during the luncheon. The 2026 inductees include:

  • Jesse Jackson Sr. (posthumous), founder of Rainbow PUSH Coalition
  • Ray Lattimore, president and CEO of Marketplace Professional Staffing
  • Reginald McKnight, global head of community development and engagement at Google
  • Susan Stall, community volunteer

In the evening, the Phillis Wheatley Community Center will present The Purple Piano, a one-man tribute to Prince starring Marshall Charloff. The special musical performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12. VIP and general admission tickets will be available for purchase…
