The Phillis Wheatley Community Center will host its fourth annual Hall of Fame Champions Luncheon in October.
The luncheon will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Oct. 12 at 335 Greenacre Road in Greenville. The fundraising event supports the Phillis Wheatley Community Center’s mission to help individuals from local underserved communities achieve upward mobility and long-term sustainability.
Four community leaders will be inducted into the Hall of Fame Champions during the luncheon. The 2026 inductees include:
- Jesse Jackson Sr. (posthumous), founder of Rainbow PUSH Coalition
- Ray Lattimore, president and CEO of Marketplace Professional Staffing
- Reginald McKnight, global head of community development and engagement at Google
- Susan Stall, community volunteer
In the evening, the Phillis Wheatley Community Center will present The Purple Piano, a one-man tribute to Prince starring Marshall Charloff. The special musical performance will be held at 7 p.m. on Oct. 12. VIP and general admission tickets will be available for purchase…
