MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – A 56-year-old Miami man received a mandatory court summons Tuesday morning after a marine deputy caught him holding nine undersized fish near the Whale Harbor Bridge in Islamorada.
Islamorada Marine Deputy Jason Farr was on patrol in the area around 10:20 a.m. on Aug. 11, 2026, when he spotted Raul Lopez Gonzalez fishing.
