Orlando Man Sentenced for Scamming Daytona Car Dealership

51-year-old Orlando resident Jeffrey Hirschkorn was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Friday for defrauding a car dealership in Daytona Beach. Prior to this incident, Hirschkorn has 74 felony charges and 30 convictions.

According to prosecutors, Hirschkorn intentionally paid too much for a vehicle at the dealership in September 2024. He was said to have done this in order to receive a check refunding the excess money.

Using this check and the business’s checking account information, Hirschkorn is accused of making a counterfeit check in his father’s name. He was said to have then made multiple internet payments, including a $13,000 transfer to the Orange County Tax Collector’s Office…
