JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jury selection for the trial of one of the people accused in the murder of Jared Bridegan is moving forward. Attorneys believe they have enough potential jurors to move on to the next phase of the selection process in the trial of Mario Fernandez-Saldana.
Fernandez-Saldana was back in court Tuesday for day two of jury selection in his trial. Fifty more potential jurors appeared before Judge London Kite and the attorneys. They were once again split into two groups, with the first group of people being taken into a private room to discuss their conflicts and any prior knowledge of the case.
Attorneys pressed some potential jurors on what they know about the case and whether they could presume Fernandez-Saldana’s innocence. A handful of people were excused because of their knowledge of the case…
