A 27-year-old Florida man killed in a police gunfight after shooting and seriously injuring a K-9 had been accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in a child’s “princess tent,” the sheriff said.
Angel Bowers, of Lakeland, was supposed to appear in court on Monday, Aug. 3, for allegedly having unlawful sex with a minor in 2024 but did not show up, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said during a press conference on Thursday, Aug. 6.
During a news conference on Friday, Aug. 7, Judd said Bowers had been accused of grooming and sexually battering the girl inside a child’s princess tent, Fox26 reports…
