A dispute over vapes turned violent and landed a Chapmansboro man in jail after he allegedly struck his own father during an altercation.
Jeffrey Lee Winfrey, 47, was arrested Sunday, July 26, according to an arrest affidavit filed with the Cheatham County General Sessions Court by the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Poplar Ridge Road in Chapmansboro that afternoon in response to an assault. Winfrey allegedly told deputies he had been arguing with employees from an unnamed vape store in the area.
