CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Carolina Beach Dragon Boat Regatta will return next month for its 13th year, bringing dozens of races and hundreds of participants to the Carolina Beach Marina and Yacht Basin.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organizers say more than 24 local amateur teams and visiting club teams are registered to compete in women’s, men’s and coed divisions. The event is expected to feature more than 36 head-to-head races throughout the day…
