AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine is planning to expand its services in Amarillo, with a focus on livestock industries and advanced specialty care, according to the school’s dean.
Dean Guy Loneragan said the school, which has graduated its first classes and received full accreditation, is now turning its attention to long-term growth.
“Our plan is to double down on what we do, strengthen it, and really work with the livestock sector and think about how we help sustain the dairy industry, the feedlot industry, cow-calf, the equine industry — how we help them into the future so that they remain a viable and sustainable part of our region and our community,” Loneragan said…
