Catholic Charities of Acadiana will open a second campus in Lafayette that will bring many of its regionally focused programs under one roof.
The agency will move into the building at 730 E. Kaliste Saloom Road thanks to two donations through the Community Foundation of Acadiana, officials announced. The 30,000-square-foot building, which last housed C&C Technologies and Oceaneering, became available after both organizations purchased the building for $5.425 million in late July, land records show.
The acquisition was made possible by two transformational restricted gifts from donors who designated their contributions for the purchase of the property and for long-term infrastructure investment, CFA officials said. One donor was anonymous…
