NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – An Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office employee was arrested on accusations he conspired to smuggle contraband to inmates within the Orleans Justice Center jail, the agency said Tuesday (Aug. 11).
The arrest of 23-year-old Shion Scott of Marrero came “after several months of intelligence gathering and weeks of investigative efforts,” the OPSO said.
