Denver-based Frontier Airlines is at the center of three proposed class-action lawsuits alleging the company failed to protect private customer and employee information and mishandled its response after data breaches occurred.
Diana Bennett filed her complaint against the company on July 13 while Grace Stean and Frontier employee Kimah Beach filed their complaints on July 15.
The plaintiffs claim that on both May 12 and June 3, members of the cybercriminal gang known as Scattered Lapsus$Hunters were able to access and exfiltrate data from Frontier’s internal systems, including names, Social Security numbers, home addresses, phone numbers, driver’s license numbers, passport numbers and Frontier employee ID numbers…
