DENVER (KDVR) — Crews responded to Interstate 25 in Lone Tree Tuesday after an electric vehicle caught on fire.
The electric vehicle caught fire on the southbound lanes of I-25 near the Lincoln Avenue off-ramp. South Metro Fire Rescue said crews were responding to the fire at around 11:50 a.m.

Within an hour of the first report, crews contained the fire, with no injuries reported.
Photos provided by the fire agency show the vehicle heavily damaged due to the fire.
