EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, Knack, is a smart sweetheart of an adventure dog that’s looking for a loving family to give him lots of love and attention!
According to Greenhill Humane Society staff, Knack is 2.5 years old and weighs about 63 pounds. An apt pupil, Knack loves learning new tricks and doggy skills and already knows how to sit, lay down, and offer a paw on command. Such is his enthusiasm he will often give a “double paw” in response to his command! Knack historically has gotten along better with female dogs and should first meet any canine siblings or children at the shelter.
As Knack likes to chase kitties, he would be best suited in a feline-free home, Greenhill staffers say. Knack is also eligible for Greenhill’s Foster-to-Adopt program, which allows interested families to foster him for up to two weeks to see if he’s a good match for them prior to adoption. Knack’s adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, and a certificate for a free vet exam as well as post-adoption support and more.
Knack was this week’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every week, KEZI showcases a homeless pet during the 6 p.m. broadcast. If you are interested in Knack or the other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, more information is available here…
