The Orrville Railroad Heritage Society and the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank are inviting local businesses, organizations, churches and schools to participate in All Aboard to End Hunger during Hunger Action Month.
Participants are asked to hold food and fund drives in advance of the event to support families facing hunger in Wayne County. Groups can collect shelf-stable food and monetary donations.
The donations will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Orrville Railroad Heritage Society, 2174 S. Crown Hill Road, Orrville. Food bank staff and volunteers will help pack the donations onto the train…
