Three Kern County minors, boys ages 16, 13 and 12, have been arrested and charged in the shooting death of a 53-year-old man, officials said.
The incident occurred July 18 in the 800 block of Crane Street in Bakersfield, according to a news release from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office. Responding deputies arrived at the scene and found a man and his father suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim, Eric Lancaster, was pronounced dead at the scene. His father, Vernon “Wes” Lancaster, was taken to a hospital, where he was treated for his injuries, the Los Angeles Times reported…
