Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford wins Democratic primary for Assembly District 76

MADISON, Wis. — Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford won the Democratic primary for Wisconsin’s 76th Assembly District, leading a large field in the state’s most progressive district.

The win gives Martinez-Rutherford a runway to become Wisconsin’s first transgender member of the State Legislature.
