The Comfort Suites Eugene University hotel in the Laurel Hill neighborhood next to Interstate 5 may soon be expanded with additional rooms connected by a skybridge, city records show.
Consultants for ALKO Hotels filed a project consultation application with the city in late July, which also proposes building “either residential assisted living or market rate apartments” on a lot adjacent to the hotel at East 25th Avenue and Brackenfern Road
The Comfort Suites was built in 2008. ALKO Hotels owns four other hotels in the area, three of which line Franklin Boulevard in Glenwood.
