HONOLULU (Island News) — Forecasters are closely watching a developing tropical system that could bring strong winds, heavy rain and flooding to Hawaiʻi later this week.
The National Weather Service says Potential Tropical Cyclone One-C was about 935 miles east-southeast of Hilo early Wednesday morning. The system was moving west at about 10 mph and had maximum sustained winds of 35 mph.
