Details take shape in trial over 8-year-old Arbrie Anthony’s murder

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – Jurors in the trial over the murder of 8-year-old Arbrie Anthony spent Wednesday hearing about crimes that set the stage for the violence leading up to her death.

The only defendant still facing trial, Antoine Rodrigues Redfield, is accused of taking part in the Jan. 8, 2022, drive-by at the Dogwood Terrace public housing complex.

The only man still facing trial in the killing of 8-year-old Arbrie Anthony is now before a Richmond County jury, as prosecutors work to tie him to a red Jeep and a violent gang rivalry they say led to the little girl’s death.

Arbrie wasn’t the target, but was hit as she ran for cover while petting a horse outside her home…
