NEW YORK – With no winner emerging from Monday night’s Powerball drawing, the jackpot has climbed to an estimated $1 billion for the upcoming Wednesday night drawing.
The current jackpot offers a cash payout option of $433.1 million, marking it as the eighth-largest Powerball jackpot in history and the biggest prize offered so far in 2026.
Monday’s drawing did not produce a jackpot winner, with the winning numbers being 6, 37, 54, 55, 64, and the Powerball 10. The Power Play multiplier was set at 3X. If the jackpot remains unclaimed on Wednesday, the prize will continue to increase, potentially becoming one of the largest lottery jackpots ever recorded.
The last Powerball jackpot was claimed on May 2, 2026, when two tickets from Florida and Texas split a $20 million prize.
The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are approximately 1 in 292.2 million. This remains consistent for players in both the United States and the United Kingdom, following the recent expansion of Powerball participation.
Officials anticipate that the broadened player base will accelerate the growth of jackpots and boost ticket sales, as larger grand prizes attract more players.
Powerball tickets are priced at $2 each. The game is played across 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S.
Virgin Islands. Players select five numbers from 1 to 69 and one Powerball number from 1 to 26, with drawings held every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
