HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — Growing up, West Michigan native Anna Vreugdenhil would spend her weekends baking up a storm in her family’s kitchen. Now, she has her very own bakery and cafe in Hudsonville, serving a range of cookies, bars, coffees and teas.
Anna’s Little Bakery opened last week at 5400 School Ave. near Chicago Drive, below the Terra Station apartments.

“I’ve dreamt about this for years,” Vreugdenhil told News 8.
She began baking in fifth grade, when she and her best friend made brownies for their teacher’s engagement party. From there, Vreugdenhil began watching Food Network, hosting neighborhood bake sales and dreaming of a future bakery.
“At the time, it felt like playing pretend,” she said. “But definitely somewhere along the way, that dream really stuck with me.”…
