Aikan is slated to open its seventh location at 17046 Magnolia St, in Fountain Valley this winter. Kevin Jeong, the restaurant’s owner, told WhatNow that the new location will bring what he calls “a taste of Japan” to the California community.
The Fountain Valley restaurant will offer a premium all-you-can-eat Japanese dining concept, with a menu featuring a variety of dishes beyond sushi. According to Kevin, the restaurant previously operated several restaurants in the area before the pandemic and is familiar with the local market.
Poke bowls are among the most popular items at Aikan, with customers typically ordering two to three dishes per person, according to Kevin. Sushi will also be available, although the restaurant says its preparation process sets its offerings apart.
