LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — The first day of school can bring nerves for students and teachers alike. But at Winburn Middle School, two educators are entering the new year with very different perspectives: one beginning a teaching career and another preparing for what could be his final year in the classroom.
Paul Broderson has been teaching science for 27 years, spending most of his career at Winburn Middle School. As he begins what he says will most likely be his final school year, he is reflecting on the students and colleagues who have shaped his career.
