NEW YORK (PIX11) — A man who was in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at Delaney Hall in Newark died after being released from their custody, according to New Jersey Congressman Robert Menendez.
Jose Chajon-Raxon, a migrant from Guatemala, died after experiencing a medical incident at Delaney Hall, Rep. Menendez said.

A spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security tells PIX11 News that Chajon-Raxon was processed into Delaney Hall on July 18, and the next day, a nurse witnessed what appeared to be seizure-like activity.
