RPS announces new chief talent officer, former hire left after six months

RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Public Schools (RPS) has announced its new, permanent chief talent officer — a role with a history of controversy and short-lived employment.

Superintendent Jason Kamras announced in a Wednesday, Aug. 12 release that the position has been filled by Danielle Greene-Bell, who has served as acting chief talent officer throughout the past several months.
