Syracuse, N.Y. ― Eight people were displaced by a house fire on the West Side of Syracuse Wednesday evening, firefighters said.
Around 7:30 p.m., crews arrived at 1004 Emerson Ave. to find heavy fire coming from the 2-1/2-story house, Capt. Erik Caster, a Syracuse Fire Department spokesperson, said.
