LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Little Rock School District confirmed Wednesday that a student was hit by a vehicle near a school bus stop.
Watson Elementary School Principal Christopher Jackson sent a message out to inform parents and staff that the child has a minor foot injury but has been treated and is doing well.

Jackson reminded parents to talk to their children about staying safe while walking to school and at the bus stop. Part of the message read:
“As a reminder, please talk with your children about staying safe as they walk to school and at the bus stop – standing back from the road and staying alert. We’re also asking everyone driving through our community before and after school to slow down and watch for students walking, waiting, or crossing.”…
