PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Shifting winds are expected to bring smoke back into the valley Thursday, once again lowering the quality of the air in the Portland area.
Over the last several days, an onshore wind has pushed the smoke from the many wildfires burning in central and eastern Oregon out of the valley and to the east.
