WILMINGTON, MA — Please be advised that roadway widening, realignment, sidewalk work, utility work, and resurfacing work will be taking place along Salem Street, at the intersection of Woburn Street and Salem Street. The work will include roadway widening, realignment, inclusion of a lefthand storage lane (from westbound on Salem Street, to turn southbound on Woburn Street), new traffic signals and controller box, and resurfacing along this section of Salem Street. This work is being performed by a private contractor working for the developer of the Amazon facility at 800 Salem Street and has been reviewed and approved by the Town.
Installation of traffic management controls (i.e. temp signage, barriers, orange drums) are scheduled to begin on Wednesday August 12, 2026, and expected to be completed by Friday August 14, 2026.
