The mega travel center chain Buc-ee’s continues to file lawsuits against businesses for trademark infringement while a local business that settled with the giant corporation celebrates its rebranding.
It was in 2024 that the company located in Lake Jackson, Texas brought a suit against the owners of Duckees Drive-Thru in Kimberling City, claiming that businesses duck logo to closely resembled their beaver logo. The two sides settled the lawsuit last year.
The local business, which sells alcohol and food products, is now know as Duck N Go Drive-Thru and they are holding a ribbon cutting through the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce to celebrate their rebranding on Friday.
