Carpinteria Dog Owners’ Group (C-DOG) recently launched its new book, “Dogs of Monte Vista Dog Park,” featuring 108 full-color photos of dogs enjoying the temporary dog park, and information about the effort to establish Carpinteria’s first off-leash dog park.
The book is part of C-DOG’s fundraising campaign to raise $50,000 for a permanent off-leash dog park at Monte Vista Park.
Plans for a permanent park received preliminary approval from the Carpinteria Architectural Review Board on July 16. The plans for the permanent park must now be approved by the Carpinteria Planning Commission and the Carpinteria City Council, to allow C-DOG and the city to apply for grants…
