LA MESA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — The City of La Mesa on Wednesday released the results of a DUI checkpoint held Friday, Aug. 7.
The checkpoint was located at 7000 University Avenue, and 931 vehicles were screened during the process, according to Lt. Travis Higgins.
Here are the La Mesa DUI checkpoint results:
- 931 vehicles were screened
- 12 citations were issued for unlicensed or suspended licenses
- Two DUI evaluations conducted
- One person arrested on suspicion of DUI
