SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Extremely hot conditions are expected over the next several days. Highs will be in the upper 90s with much hotter heat index values.
Thursday afternoon is a Storm Team 3 Weather Aware Day due to the possibility of widespread heat index values over 105°F. Heat index values near the coast are forecast to reach over 110°F.
An Extreme Heat Warning has been issued for Beaufort, Jasper, Chatham, coastal Bryan, coastal Liberty and McIntosh County 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday.
