DeWitt, N.Y. — A load of gravel dumped on Interstate 690 East in DeWitt Tuesday damaged four cars, police said.
The gravel chipped the front bumpers of four vehicles and caused flat tires on two of those vehicles, said Lt. Jerry Pace of the DeWitt Police Department.
Three of the four lanes on the highway near the Bridge Street exit were closed after the spill shortly before 8 a.m. The road remained closed until about 11:15 a.m…
