Madison is reserving 200 acres of land reclaimed from a quarry and gravel pit in the town of Burke and Sun Prairie for future parkland.
The City Council voted unanimously this summer to acquire seven parcels of land — four unaddressed, one at 3328 Nelson Road and portions of two lots at 5185 Reiner Road in Burke — from Madison Crushing and Excavating Inc.
