TULSA, Okla. – The Williams Route 66 Marathon is a little more than three months away, and organizers are preparing for another major race weekend in Tulsa.
Destiny Green, executive director of the marathon, said volunteers will play a key role in making the event successful, with opportunities ranging from helping at water stops to welcoming runners and visitors.
Q: What are organizers planning for this year’s marathon?
A: “We have so many people coming in. Our numbers are spectacular. So all eyes are on Tulsa right now.”
