WOODMERE, Ohio – Red, the Steakhouse is officially open today.
The steakhouse is in the former Heritage Steak & Whiskey, which Doug Petkovic owned, at 28869 Chagrin Blvd. in the Eton Chagrin Boulevard development in Woodmere. Regular dinner service will be Monday through Saturday.
Red has bounced a bit but has always offered a classy but not stuffy, modern steakhouse feel. The original location was on Richmond Road in Beachwood under previous ownership. It maintains its downtown location on Prospect Avenue. It expanded to Pinecrest in Orange Village and closed that location on Feb. 28 at the end of its lease. Heritage closed in March.
