DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A local police department partnered with the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission Task Force to fight retail theft and theft-related crimes in its jurisdiction this week.
The Miami Twp. Police Department said retail theft heavily impacts businesses and the decisions they make.
“Retail theft is not a victimless crime. It impacts businesses, employees, and consumers and can influence everything from the price of products to decisions about where businesses choose to operate,” wrote the Miami Twp. PD.
