A former Hopland man convicted of drugging and repeatedly raping an incapacitated woman was sentenced Wednesday to 11 years in state prison, according to the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office.
Matthew Ryan Mayo, 46, formerly of Crawford Ranch Road in Hopland and Sonoma County, received the maximum sentence allowed for the three crimes of which a jury convicted him in May.
The jury found Mayo guilty of rape of an incapacitated person and administering a drug to facilitate a felony, both felonies. He was also convicted of distributing an intimate photograph without consent, a misdemeanor…
