PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A Portland metal recycling company linked to a notorious 2018 scrapyard fire has been ordered to shut down immediately after a judge found the business and its owner in contempt of court.
A Multnomah County judge ruled that NW Metals and its owner, Moyata Anotta, willfully violated a 2021 court-approved agreement requiring the company to comply with state environmental laws.
