Pedestrian seriously hurt after being hit by car near Arizona Mills in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is fighting for his life after being hit by a car near Arizona Mills in Tempe.

The collision happened near Darrow and Priest drives, just north of Baseline Road.

A car was making a northbound left turn out of the mall and struck the man while he was in a crosswalk, according to the Tempe Police Department. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Northbound Priest Drive is closed from Darrow Drive to Arizona Mills East as police investigate. Drivers are urged to avoid the area…
