CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) – The co-owner of Ragged Mountain Running Shop will walk 25 miles on Sunday, August 16 to raise money and awareness for Innisfree Village, a life-sharing community for adults with intellectual disabilities in Crozet.
Audrey Sackson, who also serves on the Innisfree Village board, will begin the walk at 5 a.m. She is walking a half mile for each resident at the community.
“I think Innisfree is just a very special space that I have known about because I’ve lived here for a while, but a lot of people don’t know that it is this resource out there and that they can get involved in volunteering out there or just visiting it and seeing how beautiful it is,” Sackson said…
