Krystal D. Krause has been sentenced to a three-year prison term with credit for 28 days after pleading guilty to charges stemming from the 2023 death of her 2-month-old son, who prosecutors said suffocated after being found face-down in Krause’s bed.
Krause, 41, of Wickliffe, pleaded guilty in Lake County Common Pleas Court 4 on July 9 to third-degree felony reckless homicide and third-degree felony endangering children. She was sentenced on Aug. 13 by Judge Patrick J. Condon.
Condon said Krause is to pay court costs and any fees associated with this case.
Post Release Control is also a part of Krause’s sentence. Condon said she may be on PRC for up to two years as determined by the Adult Parole Authority…
