POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A 20-year-old Sanford man is in custody after a witness spotted him attempting to break into a parked school bus late Wednesday night, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were dispatched to Lake Marion Creek Middle School in Poinciana at approximately 10:22 p.m. on August 12 following a report of suspicious activity on campus. A witness told dispatchers they saw a man trying to gain entry into one of the school buses parked on the property.
