MEMPHIS, TN — A Tennessee State Trooper is receiving praise this week after stopping to help a family experiencing tire trouble while traveling across the state.
Trooper Dunbar came to the assistance of Andy Whaley and his wife as they were traveling toward Memphis when they apparently picked up something in one of their tires.
Whaley’s son, David Whaley, later shared his appreciation for the trooper on social media, thanking Dunbar for helping his parents get back on the road.
“Never know when you’ll pick something up in your tire,” Andy Whaley said in a message shared by his son. “What a blessing he was to us.”
