HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Drivers in Hillsborough County can expect widespread overnight delays starting Sunday as the Florida Department of Transportation District 7 begins a full week of roadwork across several major thoroughfares and interstates.
The scheduled work will impact several key commuter corridors, including Interstate 75, Interstate 275, US 301, US 92, and State Road 60.
Commuters traveling between Hillsborough and Pinellas counties will face night closures on both major bridge crossings. Interstate 275 along the Howard Frankland Bridge will experience lane reductions from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., running Sunday, August 16 through Saturday, August 22.
